Ich bin ein Star – Holt mich hier raus! is a German television series based on the British reality television show I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!. A batch of ten, or in more recent seasons eleven, more or less known celebrities, ready to expose themselves to a large amount of viewers, have to spend about two weeks in an Australian jungle camp, located in New South Wales, in the area of Murwillumbah. Each day, the viewers vote for the celebrity they would like to face a difficult task and later vote for their favorite to become the “Queen” or “King of the Jungle”. The tasks are called “Dschungelprüfung” and are supposed to push the contestant to his or her mental and/or physical limits. Depending on their performance, they are able to collect yellow or red plastic stars that count as parts of a meal for the camp inhabitants. The contestant is chosen by the viewers in the first week of the show, and by the candidates themselves in the second week. The show is hosted by Sonja Zietlow and with beginning of Season 7 by Daniel Hartwich replacing the deceased Dirk Bach. Seven seasons have aired since 2004 - two were shot in 2004, one in 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012 and the latest season in 2013. The health and wellbeing of the celebrities and crew is looked after by Medic Bob McCarron and his team from EMS. Bob is responsible for all of the creatures and food in the challenges.

Running Man 2010 >

Running Man is a South Korean variety show; a part of SBS's Good Sunday lineup, along with Barefooted Friends. It was first aired on July 11, 2010. This show was classified as an "urban action variety"; a never-before-seen new genre of variety shows focused in an urban environment. The MCs and guests complete missions in a landmark to win the race. The show has since shifted to a more familiar reality-variety show concept focused on games. It has garnered attention as being the come-back program for Yoo Jae-suk, the main MC of the program, after leaving Good Sunday's Family Outing in February 2010. Airing at the 5 pm KST time slot for most of its run, Running Man switched to the second part of Good Sunday beginning May 6, 2012, airing after Kim Byung-man's Law of the Jungle 2 at 6:10 pm and airing against KBS2 Happy Sunday's 1 Night 2 Days Season 2 and MBC Sunday Night's I Am a Singer 2.

Celebrity Big Brother is a British reality television game show in which a number of celebrity contestants live in an isolated house trying to avoid being evicted by the public with the aim of winning a large cash prize being donated to the winner's nominated charity at the end of the run. The programme aired annually between 2001 and 2011, until 2012 when, for the first time, two series aired in the same year. This process has since continued. The show is a spin-off of the original series Big Brother. There are a number of differences between Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother. For example, Celebrity Big Brother lasts for a much shorter time than Big Brother and the celebrities – so long as they are not ejected or quit the programme – are paid for their participation. From its inception in 2001, Celebrity Big Brother was broadcast on Channel 4 and its sister channel E4, until Big Brother was cancelled by Channel 4 in 2010 due to falling ratings. Celebrity Big Brother has been broadcast on Channel 5 and its sister channel 5* since Channel 5 acquired the rights in 2011. During its run on Channel 4, Celebrity Big Brother was presented by Davina McCall, who also presented the original show.

Pawn Stars is an American reality television series, shown on History, and produced by Leftfield Pictures. The series is filmed in Las Vegas, Nevada, where it chronicles the daily activities at the World Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop, a 24-hour family business opened in 1989 and operated by patriarch Richard "Old Man" Harrison, his son Rick Harrison, Rick's son Corey "Big Hoss" Harrison, and Corey's childhood friend, Austin "Chumlee" Russell. The show, which became the network's highest rated show, and the No. 2 reality show behind Jersey Shore, debuted on July 26, 2009. Reruns can be seen on History as well as its sister network Lifetime, which added the show in December 2010. The series depicts the staff's interactions with customers, who bring in a variety of artifacts to sell or pawn and who are shown haggling over the price and discussing its historical background, with narration provided by the Harrisons and occasionally Chumlee. The series also follows the interpersonal conflicts among the cast. One reviewer referencing these conflicts described the show as a version of Antiques Roadshow "hijacked by American Chopper's" Teutul family. TV Guide has offered a similar description, calling the show "one part Antiques Roadshow, a pinch of LA Ink and a dash of COPS".

Big Brother 2000 >

Big Brother is a BAFTA Award-winning British reality television game show in which a number of contestants live in an isolated house for several weeks, trying to avoid being evicted by the public with the aim of winning a large cash prize at the end of the run. It is the British version of the Dutch Big Brother television format, which takes its name from the character in George Orwell's 1949 novel Nineteen Eighty-Four. Big Brother, along with its spin-off series Celebrity Big Brother, was originally broadcast on Channel 4 from 18 July 2000 until 10 September 2010, after which it was dropped from Channel 4's schedules due to declining ratings. The rights to the programme were acquired by Channel 5 in a two-year contract with Endemol to air on the main channel and subsidiary channel 5*. The re-launched version premiered on 18 August 2011 with a back-to-back series of Celebrity Big Brother and Big Brother. The host of Big Brother for the duration of its run on Channel 4 was Davina McCall, who was replaced by Brian Dowling when the show moved to Channel 5. Marcus Bentley has narrated the show since its inception on Channel 4. Spin-off shows that co-existed with the Channel 4 series were presented by Dermot O'Leary, Russell Brand, George Lamb and Emma Willis, who returned to present the only spin-off show Big Brother's Bit on the Side alongside Jamie East and Alice Levine when the show began on Channel 5. On 2 April 2013, it was announced that Willis would be the main Big Brother presenter.
